Cooking GenieBy downloading or using Cooking Genie you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
1. License (EULA)
Cooking Genie is licensed, not sold. Your use of the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with these additional terms. If there’s a conflict, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by Apple’s EULA.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it anytime from Profile › Delete account.
3. AI-generated content
- Recipes, nutrition values and tips are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- They are not medical or nutritional advice. If you have allergies, intolerances, a medical condition, are pregnant or follow a clinical diet, consult a professional.
- Always check ingredient labels and allergens, cook food to safe temperatures and follow basic food hygiene. Cooking Genie does not guarantee that any recipe is allergen-free.
- You may freely use the recipes you generate for personal use.
4. Genie+ (subscription)
- Genie+ is an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited recipes and additional features.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Cooking Genie for illegal activities, to try to obtain harmful content, to circumvent service limits, or to reverse engineer, resell or automate access to the app.
6. Availability
We may update, change or discontinue features to improve the service. We’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect subscribers.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Cooking Genie is not liable for damages arising from the use of generated recipes, including allergic reactions or foodborne illness. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country.
8. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
